about

"A Clown's Wristwatch" is the soundtrack or concept album for an animation/video installation/performance series called "Clowntrodden" a collaborative project by Brendan Coyle and Steven Lapcevic. The title refers to the idiosyncrasy of the break in costume where you can see a Clown's wrist and remember that its an adult, and the wristwatch further affirms the idea of real aging within an unreal mutated or stunted adult-child. Something that was a pretense has become a reality, and "Clowntrodden" seeks to explore themes of regression, arrested development, devolution and malformations of the progress driven generations successive of World War II.

"Clowntrodden" is a work in progress, as may well be "A Clown's Wristwatch" and more songs may surface at a later date, but this is the first release. Please show patronage and download a song or the entire album, and you will be helping to continue the progress of the series.

Look for another chapter of "Clowntrodden" at Lumen Festival in Staten Island. www.lumenfest.org
